Early Treatment Involves Knowing the Symptoms and Signs of Cancer
Diagnosing cancer in its early stages is important for a successful treatment. Knowing what your body is like in its normal state will make it easier to discover any possible problems so you can tell your doctor in its earliest stages. Some things that you may spot can be directly related to the early stages of cancer.
Being aware of your body will help you notice if any unexplained lumps do appear so you can report them quickly. A lump that turns out to be from cancer will most like have no pain. Not many lumps will actually be from cancer but getting them checked out early is a way to protect yourself just in case there is a problem.
Coughing that is persistent or hoarseness and breathlessness can indicate many different types of health problems but there is always the possibility that it could be from lung cancer. To be safe it is best to report these symptoms if they have persisted for more than a couple weeks. You should always contact your physician if you have any cancer stages or lung cancer symptoms.
Stool that changes in color to something that is very red in color, contains blood or is uncommonly dark needs to be checked. When there is bleeding for no apparent reason it means there is something wrong and it needs to be check out. Bruises are seldom the result of cancer and neither are nose bleeds but it is always wise to consult with your doctor. The first thing you should is call your doctor if you have cervical cancer symptoms.
Moles do not mean skin cancer but should be checked to be safe. If you are losing weight and do not know why it is best to have a consultation with your health care professional to be sure it is not cancer related. If you have any concerns about something that is happening with your body that is out of the norm, run and don’t walk to your health care professional. The earlier you discover any potential problems with your body and seek a diagnosis the better chances you have with finding a cure.
