is Lanikai beach all that its cracked up to be?

i am traveling to hawaii next week, this will be our 3rd. trip to oahu, but i honestly dont remember going ot lanikai beach. i would however like to visit it this trip, and just wondering if its as amazing as all the websites say it is?

Justice: i have heard that kaui is beautiful, and i would love to visit it one day, but since we are going to oahu to visit my sister, island hoping is not an option. and telling me all about kaui does not pertain to my question.
*: thats hilarious. low calorie sand huh? i dont plan on eating any, but im sure my 18 month old will more than likely try to, so ill remember not to freak out since its low calorie!! lol!!!

It is.
Really.
It’s one of the least populated beaches, so there’s no debris. The sand, to me, is softer than other beaches…I know, strange huh? Weddings are held there as well, and my friends and I were lucky to see one going on so we all sat in the sand and watched. It was really nice.

Lanikai is all you have heard and more! The water is crystal clear turquoise blue, the sand is soft and white, the scenery is beyond paradise! Definitely worth a trip! There are two Islands within paddling distance that are fun to hang out on! Kailua is also a great beach! Aloha

Yes. But PLEASE, while you’re visiting, take a short plane ride to Kauai. I promise you won’t be sorry, and it’s not too expensive if you know where to go. If you know anyone there, the residents can get the plane ticket for you even cheaper. This is my favorite Island. Look it up and see some pics….they don’t come close to the real thing, but you’ll see what I mean. This Island has everything. A tropical “Grand Canyon”, waterfalls, rain forest, mountains, and so many gorgeous beaches that you can have all to yourself. I can tell you some places to go if you want to hear more detail…. like this wasn’t long enough, eh? lol. I’m in love with this Island! So is anyone who visits… Aloha baby!
