Is october/november good time to trave to Hawaii?

Hi,
I am planning to visit Oahu and BigIsland during October lastweek/November first week. Does it rain a lot during this time? We are planning to spend a lot of time in beach. Is the water temperature good?

    Yes and no. Yes, the season of rain is late September-ish through December; but rain can come any time, any day. There was the “40 days of rain” from late February through early April of last year, so again… it’s not predictable. Water temperature should be good, nonetheless.

    I was just in Hawaii last October and it was fine. I go every year around that time and have never had a problem.

    I went last November. Water was great. Shorts, swim suit and sun dress is all I needed. I know the rain varies but we had none the 8 days we were there.. And I am going the 2nd week of October this year.
