Vacation in hawaii how much spending money for one person for a week?

I am traveling to Oahu and staying there for one week. I am living in a vacation hostel for $203 for the week and the plane ticket is like $500 roundtrip. Anyway, I was thinking of bringing about $1,500 total including the airfare and room. That means a little over $700 for the week. I want to do things like Shark diving and skydiving. I also mainly want to explore the island and meet some new people, I am thinking about relocating there one day……Anyway, any information on how much money you think I should bring would be appreciated…..I am 23 male and traveling solo.

$700 a week spending money would be plenty. The Shark Dive is going to be about $130. Sky Dive gone be about $150. Hit the to meet some ladies and make some friends. Thats on Tuesdays/Fridays cost$50 you should be able to get for $40. You can take a bus around the island for $1.50 slow but you can explore.
If you staying in Waikik you can hit the Food Panrty for your meals. They also got subway and mcdonalds as such. Drink before you go out and you gon be Balln. haha

More like $1500 or more would be more like it!
Even if you ate at cheap places like McD’s…..a meal deal is over $6
If planning on clubbing…cover charge for most places is over $10 and drinks are outrageous.
The bus is $2 one way these days!
