Which Hawaiian island is best for lots of swimming and hiking in beautiful places?

Ive been to Maui and Oahu and both palces are gorgeous, but Maui was a little more wild and I like that. Which island would you recommend for me?

My personal favorite is the island of Kauai. It is called the garden island and it really is like paradise. My favorite hikes are:
-Kalalau Trail
-Hanakapi’ai Trail
-Kukui Trail

the Big Island..for swimming it has all the different colored sand beaches (Green Sand beach, Black sand beach, white sand beach ,etc) but you can swim basically anywhere on the Kona side…conversely the best hiking is on the Hilo side, thats where the rain forests, waterfalls, and volcanoes are
